PRESEASON SKILLS & EVALUATION CLINIC: Usually held mid-to-late July for 3-5 days. Participants are given instructions and skill building activities during the clinic. In order to ensure well rounded teams, evaluations are based on skills and experience prior to team placement. Cheerleaders will not be assigned teams until after football teams are assigned in order to allow cheerleaders to be placed on the same team as their siblings that are players in the same division. In forming cheer teams, the Cheer Director will attempt to pair cheerleaders living near each other for ease of transportation. Please let Cheer Director know of any special needs or requests during Preseason Skills & Evaluation Clinic.

GEAR OUT: Gear out follows Tackle Football Preseason Skills & Evaluation Clinic/Team Assignments.

SPORTS PHYSICALS: Required for all Junior & Senior Cheer participants as they perform stunts. Junior & Senior Cheer participants will not be allowed to gear out until a Sports Physical is received.

PRACTICES: Cheer practice begins shortly after team assignment, and the Cheer Coach will contact you about the practice schedule. Prior to starting school, cheer participants are allowed to practice up to 4 times a week. Once school begins, Cheer Cubs will be limited to 2 times/per week, and Junior & Senior Cheer will be limited to 3 times per week.

SEASON DATES: Round Robin is usually held the same weekend as the Salmon Derby which is August 9th-11th for 2024. Regular Season games begin the weekend after Round Robin and finish up with Play Offs and Championships the first part of October.
