Participant Scholarship & Sponsorship Options
3 Steps For Financial Assistance This Season:
1. First Register your child at www.juneaufootball.com and indicate you are seeking scholarships (an option in the registration).

3. Submit a request for a JYFL Scholarship LAST by completing the request found on this page and emailing it to [email protected]
GENERAL PARTICIPATION SCHOLARSHIP:
This scholarship is available to support participants needing partial funding for registration costs.
Scholarships will be awards at the following rates:
$25.........Grades: K - 2nd..........Registered for the Flag Division
$25.........Grades: 1st - 3rd..........Registered for Cubs Cheer Program
$25.........Grades: 3rd - 4th..........Registered for Cubs Tackle Football
$50.........Grades: 4th - 8th..........Registered for JR & SR Cheer Program
$50.........Grades: 5th - 8th..........Registered for JR & SR Football
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY:
The General Participation Scholarship is open to all families in need. Need will be assessed using the guidelines on the application. In order to receive the scholarship, families should request it at the time of registration. FAMILY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT
Families who are registering multiple participants that incur registration fees in excess of $450 are eligible for a Family Registration Discount. JYFL family registrations are capped at $450. In order to be eligible, all participants registering must be with the direct siblings or children connected to the same parent/guardian and registered under the same account. To receive the Family Registration Discount, please choose to pay by either the Payment Plan (uses a credit card) or by check. Notify JYFL immediately via email: [email protected] that you qualify for the Family Registration Discount. The JYFL Registrar will adjust your account balance to meet the cap limit.
JYFL PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Presidential Scholarships is awarded after all other community scholarship / funding resources have been exhausted, including any CBJ, private or public scholarship options. All participants are eligible to receive the Presidential Scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate need for the funding support and must be willing to provide additional support to the League in lieu of registration costs. To apply for the Presidential Scholarship, please email your request along with the following information for this scholarship:

Team Mahle Scholarship
The League will provide scholarships for up to 11 eighth grade youth participating in the Senior Division who intend to continue on to play football in High School during their Freshman year. Each youth that is selected will receive a $275 scholarship to apply toward fees and registration costs. To be eligible, participants must be in 8th grade and participated in the JYFL Senior Division AND intend to play football during their Freshman year of high school. Participants can be nominated by another youth; a parent; a coach; or a Board of Director.
This group of youth is selected through a nomination and award process, with youth being rated on their leadership; academic achievement; teamwork; honesty; display of trust; overall character; and commitment to helping others.
